Dr. Michael Wiener
Dr. Wiener is proud to be practicing dentist with a specialty in periodontics and implantology in the New Haven community since 1995. For over 15 years, he has worked with many different people. His patients have taught him much about life, and the relationships that he’s developed with his patients have helped him become a better dentist and person. He enjoys what he does as a dental professional. To change a person’s life by changing their smile is one of the most rewarding feelings. He has a lot of respect for his patients and their decisions to receive dental care and feels honored that they trust him to help them improve their smiles, their health, and their lives.
Dr. Wiener earned his degree from the State University of New York (SUNY) School of Dental Medicine at Stony Brooke, graduating with honors. He completed a three year residency in periodontics and implant surgery. He has continued his education by regularly participating in continuing education courses to stay current with the latest technology and treatments available.
Dr. Wiener and his wife live in New Haven with their three wonderful children. He enjoys spending time with his family, and competing in power lifting competitions. He is also deeply involved in the community.
Dr Josh Ilan
Dr.Joshua Ilan earned his dental degree from the Columbia University College of Dental Medicine, after earning his bachelor’s degree from the University of Pennsylvania. Prior to entering private practice, Dr. Ilan served a general practice residency at Jacobi Medical Center. He is a member of the American and New York State Dental Associations, Ninth District Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry.
Dr. Ilan has taken numerous postgraduate education courses, focusing on restorative and implant dentistry. He has specific training in full mouth reconstruction, implant surgery, sedation, and endodontics. Dr. Ilan’s commitment to lifelong education means he constantly evaluates emerging dental methods and technologies to provide his patients with the best results in the least invasive manner and with great emphasis on comfort. This commitment ensures the highest level of care, both today and tomorrow.
Dr. Ilan and his wife have two beautiful children. In his spare time, he enjoys cooking, hiking, traveling, and spending time with his family.
Alexander Quintner, DMD

St. Francis Hospital General Practice Residency
Dr. Alexander Quintner graduated from the University Of Pennsylvania School Of Dental Medicine with National Boards part I and II honors. He was the sole recipient of the Delaware Valley Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons Award and was awarded a fellowship in health policy from the American Medical Student Association, one of 8 medical and dental students chosen nationwide. Throughout all four years at Penn, he was the proud recipient of the Dean’s Scholarship.
Dr. Quintner graduated summa cum laude with a Phi Beta Kappa key in 2004 from Tufts University where he received his B.S. in Biology and spent his junior year abroad at Oxford University researching cellular and molecular microbiology.
Delaying his entry into private practice, he enrolled in a competitive dental residency at St. Francis Hospital in Hartford, CT. The residency provided further training in dental trauma, oral surgery, periodontics, prosthodontics, dental implants, endodontics, TMJ Dysfunction, IV sedation dentistry and the management of medically complex patients. Dr. Quintner was the first recipient of the William J Reiger Award given to the resident who shows the highest motivation and superlative skills in both clinical and didactic general dentistry.
Dr. Stephen Schwartz
Dr. Stephen Schwartz grew up in New Rochelle, NY. He received his undergraduate degree from Stony Brook University in 1971 and his DMD from Washington University School of Dentistry, St. Louis, MO in 1979. Dr. Schwartz has over 30 years experience in general dentistry and has lived in the Fairfield County area for over 25 years.
